Während des Benefizspringens konnten unserem von Geburt an schwerstbehinderten Kameraden Gotthilf Majer und seiner Schwester Rosi aus dem Erlös der St.Michaelsmedaille je einen Tandemabsprung aus 4000 m Höhe gesponsert werden. Oberfeldarzt Dr. Matthias Röpke beteiligte sich an der Sponseraktion. Rosi Majer pflegt sein über 40 Jahren liebevoll ihren Bruder Gotthilf.
Gotthilf Majer wurde 1942 geboren und feiert am 20.August 2010 seinen 70-zigsten Geburtstag. Während des Krieges wollte man Gotthilf in eine „Pflegeanstalt“ der Nazis einweisen. Seine Familie versteckt Gotthilf auf den Bauernhof seines Bruders und so konnte Gotthilf den Krieg überleben.
Gotthilf und seiner Schwester Rosi haben wir mit dem Tandemsprung eine große Freude bereiten können. Unseren Dank gilt auch dem Tandemmaster Björn Korth, der einfühlsam die beiden Tandemabsprünge durchführte.

With the profit made by selling the St. Michael-medallions we could invite our comrade Gotthilf Majer, who is heavily handicaped since his birth, and his sister Rosi to a tandem-jump from an altitude of 4000m for both of them during our benefit-jumps. Oberfeldarzt Dr. Matthias Röpke also supported this cause by himself. Rosi Majer is lovingly taking care of her brother Gotthilf for more than 40 years.
Gotthilf Majer was born in 1943 and on August 20th 2010 he was celebrating his 70th birthday. During the Second World War the Nazis wanted to put him into one of their “Care-Institutions”. But his family hid him on his brother’s farm and because of this he was able to survive the Regime.
With the jumps we were able to make Gotthilf and his sister very happy. We would like to thank Tandemmaster Björn Korth, who executed the jumps with all the necessary care.
