Spende an ein Waisenhaus in Indien/ Donation at orphanage in Indien

Im Rahmen des alljährlich stattfindenden Sprungbiwaks des Europäischen Militär- Fallschirmsprungverbandes e.V. ( EMFV e.V.), konnte Vizepräsident Adelbert Schömer heuer Major General Hoshiar Singh, YSM aus Indien, auf dem Flugplatz in Erpucize / Tschechien begrüßen.

Groß war die Freude der teilnehmenden Soldaten, Polizisten und Reservisten aus 12 Nationen, nachdem Major General Hoshiar an die Springer das indische Armee-Sprungabzeichen verlieh. Während des Sprungbiwaks wurde an zahlreiche Teilnehmer auch die St.Michaelsmedaille mit einer dekorativen Urkunde verliehen. Die Urkunde selbst wird durch den Militärbischof von Deutschland, seine Exzellenz Dr.Walter Mixa oder dem Militärbischof von Österreich, seine Exzellenz Mag. Christian Werner eigenhändig signiert.

Aus dem Spendenerlös der St.Michaelsmedaille konnte Vizepräsident Adelbert Schömer an Major General Hoshiar Singh in den Geschäftsräumen der Sparkasse Bad Aibling-Rosenheim – Zweigstelle Prutting, eine Spende in Höhe von 600,00 Euro für die Schulspeisung von Waisenkindern in Haryana / Indien überreichen. Major General Hoshiar wird die Spende nach seiner Rückkehr in Haryana / Indien direkt an das Waisenhaus übergeben.

Contribution to an orphanage in Harayana, India

In the context of the annual jump bivouac of the European Military Parachutists Association (EMPA), Vice President Adelbert Schoemer was this year able to greet Major General Hoshiar Singh, YRM from India, at the airport in Erpucize, Czech.

The joy of the participating soldiers, policemen, and reservists from 12 nations was great when Major General Hoshiar awarded the Indian Army parachutist badge to the jumpers. During the jump bivouac, the St. Michael's medal with a decorative certificate was also awarded to many participants. The certificate itself is signed by the Military Bishop of Germany, his excellency Dr. Walter Mixa or by the Military Bishop of Austria, his excellency Mag. Christian Werner in person. St. Michael is the protective saint of all paratroopers. The St. Michael’s medal can be requested from the European Military Parachutists Association at for a contribution of 40 Euros.

From the proceeds for the St. Michael’s medal, Vice President Adelbert Schoemer was able to hand over a contribution in the amount of 600.00 EUR for the schooling of orphans in Haryana, India, to Major General Hoshiar Singh in the offices of the Prutting branch of the Bad Aibling-Rosenheim Savings Bank. After his return to Haryana, India, Major General Hoshiar Singh will hand over the contribution directly to the orphanage.

The European Military Parachutists Association was founded on 2 October 1998 through 13 soldiers, policemen, and reservists from 8 nations in the NCO club of the 34th Fighter/Bomber Squadron – Allgaeu – in Memmingen, and is based in Rosenheim. His Imperial and Royal Highness Karl von Habsburg is Honorary President. Mr. Lieutenant Colonel Gerard Fritz from France is President. Today the EMPA has a membership of over 1100 soldiers, reservists, policemen and uniformed staff from in all 29 nations. Joint sporting events, jumps, shooting matches, and international friendship and confederation are the goals of the EMPA.
